How do I edit or delete a score from a member's record in Admin Portal?

Editing/deleting scores in Admin Portal

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to edit and delete a score on a member's record in Admin Portal.

  1. Go to the golfer's record and click on the "Score Maintenance" tab.
  2. Scroll until you find the score that needs to be edited or deleted.
  3. Editing a Score:
    1. On the line for the score, click the "Edit" button.
    2. To edit the date: select the "Date Played" box and enter the date that corresponds with the correct date played.
    3. To edit the Score Type: under the Score Type section, select the correct Score Type for this score.
    4. To edit the tees played: select the Tee drop-down box and select the correct tees played for the round.
    5. To edit a hole score when the golfer used the Hole-By-Hole score posting method: select the box for the hole that needs to be updated and enter the correct score.
    6. After making any of those changes, always make sure to click the "Save" button.
  4. Deleting a Score:
    1. If there is more than one portion of a score that needs to be corrected or if the Course Played needs to be changed, we recommend simply deleting the score and having the golfer re-post the score with the correct information.
    2. To delete a score:
      1. Find the score that needs to be deleted on the list and click the "Delete" button.

It is important to note that if a golfer realized on the day they posted their score that they made an error on that score, they can delete the score themselves via GHIN.com or the USGA GHIN Mobile App as long as it is before the nightly revision occurs.
